For many girls, menstruation can be a barrier to education. Without access to sanity products, some miss classes or even drop out of school due to embarrassment and lack of support.

To help keep girls in school, Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust with support from the NICK WEBBER TRUST, is providing reusable sanitary bad kits to over 40 vulnerable school going girls whose families are supported by Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust.

Every 18 months, each girl receives five reusable sanitary pads, underwears, washing and bathing soap and pain relief medication for those experiencing severe menstrual pain.

The initiative is restoring dignity, boosting confidence, reducing school absenteeism and improving school retention. By ensuring that menstruation does not stand in the way of education, the program is empowering girls to stay in school and pursue a bright future
