On Thursday, April 30 2026, Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust was filled not just with visitors but with hope, compassion and deep gratitude.
We were honoured to welcome two of our most trusted and committed partners Dr Christina and the team from Forderverein Aids-Hilfe and the Gift of the Givers whose presence reminded us that no one should face illness alone.
Dr Christina and her team, came bearing more than medicine. They brought relief, dignity and the promise of healing. Their generous donation of essential drugs such as Gabapentin and Mentocropramide among others will go a long way in easing pain and restoring comfort to our patients many of whom are battling life-limiting conditions.
At the same time, our long standing partner, Gift of the Givers, shared nourishment and care through the distribution of vital food supplements. Patients and families received items such as Likuni Phala, maize flour and Soy Peace just to mention a few which are simple yet powerful provisions that will strengthen bodies, boost immunity and bring comfort to homes often burdened by illness and uncertainty.
Moments like these remind us that true partnership is not measured only in resources, but in compassion, consistency and shared purpose.
