Ndi Moyo continues to stand out as a learning hub, drawing students eager to experience the practical application of the holistic palliative care model.

Today, three Master’s students in Adult Health Nursing from the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) visited Ndi Moyo for a learning session. Their visit aimed to deepen their practical understanding of caring for the elderly as they explore key concepts in geriatric nursing. The session provided them with valuable insights into effective management and compassionate care for older adults, enhancing both their knowledge and clinical practice. Thank you, students, for your enthusiasm to learn.
Just two weeks earlier, Hassan, a medical student from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, wrote of his clinical placement with us at Ndi Moyo:

‘We witnessed how palliative care is not just about managing illness. It’s about restoring hope, dignity and comfort to patients and their families. Working alongside the Ndi Moyo team, we learned the true meaning of umunthu — humanity and compassion in every action. Healing is not only found in medicine, but also in empathy, presence and love.’

‘Ndi Moyo, where every act of care celebrates life’
