Friday, October 31st was one for the books! Our clinic was buzzing with energy, demonstrating the power of partnership, education, and dedication to palliative care.

It started with a huge blessing: a visit from the incredible Gift of the Givers Foundation. They delivered essential food supplements that will be distributed to our patients, ensuring they have the holistic support they need. Thank you for making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

We then transformed into a learning hub. We welcomed University of Malawi MBBS Year 3 Community Health students to our clinic to learn about our model for holistic palliative care. Their passion is inspiring. We also bid a heartfelt farewell to two brilliant medical students, Thokozani and Hassan, from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, who completed an impactful 5-week clinical placement with us. We loved having them!

Finally, we wrapped up the day by escorting our Palliative Care Training Manager, Dominic, to the airport. He is en route to Tunisia to attend the prestigious AORTIC 2025 Conference. We are so proud that he and Rex have been able to represent Ndi Moyo at conferences and bring back cutting-edge knowledge to advance care in Malawi.
