Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust is proud to announce a significant institutional milestone following its successful accreditation and affiliation with the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM). This achievement marks an important step forward in strengthening the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate and accessible health services to the communities it serves.

Becoming part of the CHAM network represents recognition of Ndimoyo’s longstanding dedication to providing holistic palliative care, cancer screening services, clinical care support, training and community-based interventions for vulnerable populations across central Malawi. This affiliation affirms that Ndi Moyo meets nationally recognized standards for faith-based health service delivery and aligns with Malawi’s broader national health strategy through CHAM’s partnership with Government.

The CHAM membership brings new opportunities that will directly benefit the communities Ndimoyo serves. Through this partnership, the Trust will strengthen collaboration with government health systems and fellow CHAM member facilities, enhancing coordination of care and improving access to essential health services for patients and families.

The membership will improve access to quality healthcare services for underserved populations,

strengthened referral systems and service integration, enhanced institutional capacity through technical collaboration, greater visibility and credibility within Malawi’s national health framework and expanded opportunities for partnerships that support sustainable service delivery

Most importantly, this milestone reinforces Ndimoyo’s mission of ensuring that people living with life-limiting illnesses receive dignified, compassionate and patient-centred care closer to their homes.

Since its establishment, Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust has remained committed to reaching the most vulnerable members of society with holistic care services that address medical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Joining CHAM is therefore not only an institutional achievement but also recognition of years of dedication by staff, volunteers, partners and supporters who have contributed to the organization’s growth and impact.

This milestone strengthens the Trust’s ability to continue delivering integrated palliative care services while expanding its contribution to Malawi’s health sector.

Ndimoyo Palliative Care Trust extends its sincere appreciation to the leadership of CHAM for welcoming the organization into its respected network of faith-based health service providers. The Trust also expresses deep gratitude to its partners, supporters and the communities it serves for their continued trust and collaboration throughout this journey.

As a newly affiliated CHAM member facility, Ndimoyo reaffirms its commitment to excellence, compassion, accountability and service to humanity. The organization looks forward to working closely with CHAM and other stakeholders to improve access to quality palliative and clinical care services and to ensure that no one facing serious illness, whatever their faith, is left without support.

This affiliation marks not just a milestone but a renewed promise to serve communities with strengthened capacity, deeper partnerships and unwavering compassion.
