Preservation of your privacy is important to Ndi Moyo UK .We are committed to keeping your personal information in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. We are committed to letting you know how we use your personal information and to only making responsible use of your data.
- Information about you
1.1 We collect personal information from you when you become a supporter through completing an on-line opt-in form. This will include your name, title and contact details. If you support us through donations, our Treasurer will have a record of your bank details and address as well.
1.2 Your consent to us holding your personal information will be deemed to last for five years. At the end of the five year period you will be invited to refresh your consent.
- Our use of this information
2.1 Your personal information will only be used to send you our newsletters, which may contain information about funding needs or campaigns. Treasurer’s information will be used for Gift Aid returns where appropriate.
2.2 We will not share your information with any outside parties.
3.1 We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.
3.2 Communications about Ndi Moyo UK will be sent by post or by e-mail or posted on our website, or shared on our Facebook page. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent in an encrypted form.
